Landon appeared in I Was a Teenage Werewolf, a B-level cheapie that can most easily be summed up as a cross between The Wolf Man and Rebel Without a Cause. His character, Tony, is a puffed-up teenager with a quick temper and an unyielding rage over the social injustices of his life.

Despite his troubled behavior, Tony’s girlfriend Arlene (Yvonne Lime) is slavishly committed to him for mysterious reasons. When Tony wails on his friends, Arlene takes him to a therapist who suggests that he undergo hypnosis to regress to his most primal state.

But the psychiatrist is a mad scientist who has big plans for violent and stupid Tony; he wants to make him into a werewolf. So he uses drugs and hypnosis to transform him into a snarling brute who can tear through his victims with impunity.

The film was based on a novel by Paul Gallico. It also starred Dawn Richard, who was a 21-year-old Playboy centerfold model at the time.
