Howard Rosenberg is a famous actor who has appeared in several movies and TV series. He is also a writer and a TV critic.

He’s married to Marg Helgenberger

Helgenberger and Rosenberg met on the set of ‘Ryan’s Hope’ in 1984. They married in 1989, and their son, Hugh Howard Rosenberg, was born in 1990.

Helgenberger began her acting career as a student in a summer 1981 campus production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, playing Kate. She was spotted by a scout for the daytime soap opera Ryan’s Hope, and soon after graduating from college, she landed her first professional role on the show in 1982, playing uptight amateur cop Siobhan Ryan Novak DuBujak (previously played by Sarah Felder and Ann Gillespie).

Helgenberger left the soap opera in January 1986 to pursue a career in film. She later starred in a number of films, including the romantic adventure Always and the comedy China Beach. She was also nominated for an Emmy Award for her work on both of those projects. She also appeared in several television movies and had a role as a Greek goddess Hera in DC Universe straight-to-video feature Wonder Woman.

Marg Helgenberger is a well-known actress who started her career in the 1980s and rose to prominence as Siobhan Ryan on the daytime soap opera Ryan’s Hope. She met her husband, Alan Rosenberg, on the set of Ryan’s Hope in 1984 and they married three years later.

The couple was also involved in the fight against breast cancer as a result of Marg’s mother’s 27-year battle with the disease. They hosted a benefit called Marg and Alan’s Celebrity Weekend annually in Omaha since 1999 to support the cause.

Howard Rosenberg is a former television critic for The Los Angeles Times. He is a Pulitzer Prize winner and was recognized as one of the nation’s best TV critics in 1996.

He has written numerous books on television, including No Time to Think: The Menace of Media Speed and the 24-hour News Cycle’’ with CNN reporter Charles S. Feldman and Not So Prime Time: Chasing the Trivial on American Television’’ with Broadcasting Magazine editor Peter Hartwell.

Rosenberg, who has retired from the newspaper business, writes for a variety of publications, including The Los Angeles Review of Books and the New York Times Book Review. He also teaches a number of courses in television criticism at the University of Southern California.
