jackie maravich was the wife of legendary LSU basketball player Peter Press Maravich. Her husband was a five-time NBA All-Star, an All-NBA First Teamer and a member of the NBA Hall of Fame.

A legendary scorer, he was known for his between-the-legs passes and other crowd-pleasing antics. But his career was also filled with injury, coaching turmoil and drinking.

Pistol Pete Maravich was an American professional basketball player. He was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, and died in Pasadena, California.

After being a part of the first-ever high school varsity basketball game, the young boy became known as “Pistol Pete” because of his off-the-hip style in firing up a one-hand push shot. He spent hours practicing his ball control and long-range shots.

His father, Peter Press Maravich, was a college basketball coach at Louisiana State University (LSU). He coached his son there for three seasons and helped him set still-standing NCAA records.

He also led the NCAA in scoring twice and was a five-time NBA All-Star. He is a member of the National Basketball Hall of Fame.

As a professional, he played for the Atlanta Hawks, New Orleans / Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics. He retired from basketball in 1980. He was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylania, and died on January 5, 1988. He was survived by his wife, Jackie Maravich and their two adorable sons, Jaeson and Josh.

One of the most famous names in the game of basketball is Pistol Pete. He was known to be a very skilled and creative player who played for many different teams in the NBA.

His ability to dribble the ball was incredible and his deft passing skills made him a threat to anyone on the court. He also had a great shot from long range.

During his college career, he played for Louisiana State University and was the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history. He was also a 3-time All-American and an all-SEC player.

Josh grew up playing with his dad in their Covington backyard and, like Jaeson, was drawn to the game. He also enjoyed the freedom that basketball allowed him.

He was a fan of Pistol Pete and the unique way he handled the ball. He loved shooting from long range.

The LSU basketball court was renamed the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in honor of him following his death. In 1996, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history by a panel that included coaches, historians and players.

Her love for animals led her to work at the Humane Society of Louisiana, where she helps abused and neglected pets find homes. She also helps people with special needs to find ways to live a more fulfilling life.

The Humane Society of Louisiana, a non-profit that specializes in rescuing animals and caring for them, has awarded her with its “Changemaker” award. She has also helped raise awareness about the importance of protecting animals and the environment.
