Wendy Durst Kreeger

Wendy Durst Kreeger

Wendy Durst Kreeger is the younger sister of Robert Durst. She is involved in a lawsuit with her parents over their attempts to force him into guardianship. She alleges they have not been filing full accountings of their trusts.

Investigators who worked under Pirro feel bitter about her failure to build a case against Kathie Durst. They say she could have done more, but was hindered by politics, personality clashes, and media leaks.

Wendy Durst Kreeger’s Net Worth

Wendy Durst Kreeger is the daughter of real estate developer Seymour Bernard Durst. Her father’s philanthropic contributions and the family business Durst Organization have helped her amass a net worth of $25 to $50 million.

While he made his fortune developing much of Manhattan’s commercial property, Dursour developed a passion for collecting New York City memorabilia, creating the Old New York Library in his brownstone on East 61st Street. The collection includes rare reports with detailed maps, early newspapers, postcards, pamphlets, and other ephemera.

He was allegedly involved in the 2001 disappearance of his neighbor Susan Berman and the subsequent discovery of her body parts in Galveston Bay. He also may have been linked to the unsolved murders of a woman from Middlebury, Vermont and a teen from Eureka, California.

Age

The younger sibling of Robert Durst, Wendy, was born in Scarsdale. Her parents were Seymour Durst and Bernice Herstein. Her father was a developer and businessman who capitalized on the National Debt Clock, and her mother was an American socialite.

When Kathie disappeared, the police were able to make little headway. Eventually, investigators shifted their focus to her husband, who is suspected of involvement in three other murders.

In 2019, her parents filed a guardianship petition for their son, Evan, which is currently being heard in Supreme Court. He disputes that he needs a guardian, and claims he can make his own decisions. The petition also requests that trustees file full and complete accounts of their three trusts. Height

The daughter of Seymour Durst and Bernice Herstein, Wendy grew up in the suburb of Scarsdale. She attended Scarsdale High School, and later graduated from Skidmore College. She also studied at Washington Square College of Arts and Sciences.

She is a fourth-generation family member of the Durst Organization, which owns Manhattan’s Time Square and other properties. She has also authored several books about New York City’s history.

Her first son Evan was featured in The Jinx, a popular documentary series. Her other son, Keith, is an artist and designer who designs porcelain wares for private clients. He is active on Instagram and Twitter, with over 19k followers and 7864 posts. His newest project is a book called New York Rising, which tells the story of the City’s development through items from Seymour Durst’s Old York Library collection.

Body Measurements

A family-run real estate company, the Durst Organization, has owned and operated some of Manhattan’s most valuable commercial properties for more than a century. The company is led by the sons of real estate mogul Seymour Durst, Robert and Douglas.

After meeting with friends and family members of Kathie Durst, it becomes clear that the DA’s office’s investigative interest in the case is waning. Several of the attendees urge investigators to talk with Susan Berman, but their requests are not taken seriously.

In the documentary The Jinx, it is revealed that Robert lied about his relationship with his sister and the role he played in her disappearance and murder. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean he is a pathological liar. Rather, his lies were based on motivation.

Education

When real estate developer Seymour Durst died in 1995, his granddaughter Wendy inherited more than a slice of his $650 million fortune. She also inherited his private library, a vast collection of maps, books and New York City ephemera that he had turned into the Old York Foundation.

In 2000, Berman was found dead at her home in southern California, shot execution-style. Investigators believe that Durst killed her because he was worried she would tell authorities about his role in Kathie’s disappearance.

Pirro has refused to comment on Strauss’ allegation, and she has not answered questions about how she handled the case over the years. Several former colleagues say she should have acted with more professional skepticism about pursuing an 18-year-old murder case that produced no body.
