Mary Eleanor Delaney

Mary Eleanor Delaney was a psychologist, speaker and writer. She was a member of the faculty at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY and was the director of the deaf education program there.

She was a great advocate for the rights of the deaf and hard of hearing. Her work was based on a deep understanding of the human experience and an ability to communicate with people in a way that was meaningful and accessible to them.

She was a Psychologist

Mary eleanor delaney is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist in private practice. She is a practical intuitive specializing in teaching her clients how to listen to and apply their intuition and inner guidance. She has taught graduate classes at Arizona State University, published in the Journal of Psychotherapy and lectured nationally on a variety of topics which focus on healing the body, mind and spirit. She is co-author of the children’s book “Moose, Bear and Hummingbird,” and has produced the breathing, relaxation and meditation CD Sacred Spaces.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the International Society for the Study of Psychiatry. She provides services to individuals, families and groups. These services include psychological testing and evaluation, counseling, psychoanalysis, hypnosis, biofeedback and behavioral analysis and therapy. She also consults with doctors on the care of patients with mental health and medical issues. Her practice is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

She is a Speaker

Mary was no slouch when it came to the microphone. She was one of a group of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital Family Advisory Council members who made the trip to Baltimore for the 8th annual international conference on patient and family-centered care. She and the group’s foxy ladies took home the prize for most informational exchanges in their category. In the words of Mary, “We have a lot of people with different backgrounds and we needed to find out what worked best for each individual. The result was a better hospital for everyone.” Besides, they had fun! She and her colleagues are planning their next adventure, a roadtrip to Boston to see the sights.

She is a Writer

Mary Delaney was a prolific writer and her books have been a staple of the book stores in both the USA and Canada. She has published more than 30 books, including the bestselling Ellen McKenzie Mystery series.

In her novels, Ellen is a divorced woman who moves to a small town and starts a new life. She decides to show houses and is surprised when she finds a dead body in one of her first properties.

She then realizes that the body was murdered and she starts her own investigation. She also decides to learn more about the town and its history.

Mary Delany was a remarkable artist who exhibited incredible creativity. Her works were full of color, detail, and beauty. She also incorporated other artistic elements into her work, such as music and embroidery. She was a remarkably strong and resourceful woman who survived a number of challenges in her life. Her story is an inspiration for the women of our time to find their own unique paths.
