He says he started building cars when he was 10 and his passion for cars led him to a career in the racing industry. He and his wife, Sarah, have a family of four and Axman is a proud dad.

Axman races on N/T radial events for two years, but switched to big tires last year. He now drives his own 1963 Chevy II and he’s having more fun than ever!

With a new car and a new team, Axman is ready to go on a winning streak. But with tensions rising on race night, Axman’s success may come at a price.

Season 2

Larry Roach, aka Axman, is a regular on Discovery’s hit street racing series. While he works hard on his street car, Axman also owns his own tree and stump removal business called Axman Enterprises.

Axman’s logging empire has earned him a cool $500,000 or so, so he can afford to be pretty darn competitive when it comes to street racing. In addition to being a logging ace, Axman is a keen tinkerer, and has a YouTube channel where he gives viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse at what it takes to make the most of his hobby.

On the show, Axman competes in a car that is a nod to his logging roots. He’s also one of the newest members of the club, and is working his way up the list. The most exciting part about this season’s axman is that there’s only two more races before the crown jewel is awarded to a lucky racer. Axman may be a bit slow off the blocks, but with his logging prowess and dedication to his craft, he’s bound for the top of the charts in no time.
