Jean Smart and her husband Richard Gilliland had one of the most exciting love stories in Hollywood. They met while working on “Designing Women” in the 1980s, and they married in 1987. They had a son together, Connor.
After a few years of dating, the couple became engaged, and they tied the knot in Dixie Carter’s rose garden. The pair welcomed their first child, Connor, in 1989.
