Finley Fehr
Finley Fehr is the son of Oded Fehr and Rhonda Tollefson. He is an American actor.
He was born on 23 November 1970 in Tel Aviv, Israel. He is of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry.
He was trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England after taking a brief drama class in Frankfurt, Germany. He is married to producer Rhonda Tollefson.
Oded Fehr
Oded Fehr has starred in a wide range of films, including The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, three Resident Evil movies and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo. He’s also made appearances in TV series such as Charmed, Once Upon a Time and Sleeper Cell.
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Oded Fehr trained in theatre in England and Germany. He served in the Israeli military and worked as an airport security officer before becoming known for his role as Ardeth Bay in The Mummy.
He has appeared in a number of other major film and television productions, including Texas Rangers and Jane by Design. He has also lent his voice to a number of animated shows, such as American Dad!, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, Ultimate Spider-Man and Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters.
He met his wife Rhonda Tollefson while attending an opera in Los Angeles, and the couple have three children together. Their son Atticus was born January 4, 2003, and their daughter Finley was born February 26, 2006.
Resident Evil
As one of the most important horror video games of all time, Resident Evil remains a staple in the survival horror genre. It pioneered the use of 2D backgrounds and player constraint, revelled in ludicrous storytelling and outrageous voice acting, and has seen its share of ups and downs throughout its long run.
During the course of his work, Shinji Mikami, Resident Evil creator and director, has drawn on a wide variety of influences to bring this series to life. In a recent video documentary, the former Capcom studio head reveals how Infogrames’ Alone in the Dark inspired the use of pre-rendered backgrounds in RE1; and he credits Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for some of its more gruesome ideas.
During the development of Resident Evil 4, Mikami consciously sought to make the game more accessible to non-horror fans, while still creating concepts that would be suitable for core horror fans. This was largely achieved with the introduction of zombies, a new enemy type that had its roots in the film Leatherface’s kill and drag scene from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Star Trek: Discovery
Fehr is an Israeli-American actor who has worked on several films and TV shows. He is best known for his work on The Mummy and its sequel, The Mummy Returns.
Star Trek: Discovery is a modern spinoff of the popular science fiction series Star Trek, which was released in 2017 by CBS and Paramount+. It marked many firsts for the franchise, including a Black female protagonist and prominent LGBTQIA+ representation.
Despite its success, the series has faced some production issues. Its original showrunner, Bryan Fuller, left the series a year before the first episode aired, after he clashed with CBS executives over budget, production schedule and crew selection.
Kurtzman and Paradise continue to serve as co-showrunners, with Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi and Frank Siracusa also executive producing. This is one of the many reasons why it has been delayed from its original January 2017 release date. As it stands now, the show is only airing half of its first season.
The Mummy
Oded Fehr is perhaps most famous for playing the Egyptian mummy Ardeth Bay in The Mummy, but he has also been seen in many other movies. He has appeared in NBC’s Undercover, the CBS series Presidio Med, and the 2004 sci-fi movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
While film fans have come to appreciate The Mummy over the years, it was originally panned by critics for being too scary and not having any foundation text like other classic horror films. Kim Newman explains that the film’s plot points don’t have a literary origin, but it still has an emotional impact on audiences.
The film was made 23 years ago, and time has a way of rewriting memories and bringing things out that weren’t apparent at first glance. That was certainly the case when I attended a panel with The Mummy’s cast members at Emerald City Comic Con on Saturday.
Before wrapping a mummy, priests prepared the body by readingibg furniture, statuettes, wall paintings, and lists of food and prayers. Then the body was placed in a sarcophagus and sealed with natron, a salt that helped dry out the body.
